Who we are looking for:
Atkore UK is looking for a Logistics Operative, who holds a valid Reach truck License or a valid M1 or M3 Combi licence.
The individual will ensure customer orders are despatched to both UK and export markets for our Unistrut, Marco and Flytec ranges. They will also ensure that Warehouse department KPIs are achieved and exceeded.
What you’ll do:
- Picking products for customer orders, checking quantities and products are correct and packing orders for both UK and export customers.
- Completion of paperwork associated with orders. Including paperwork for the preparation of invoices by sales personnel, packing specifications, carriers’ documentation/consignment notes etc.
- Data entry via the IT system as necessary for processing and despatching of orders.
- Receipting product into the finished-goods warehouse, including data entry/booking stock onto the appropriate computer system.
- Replenishment of picking stock.
- Processing of customer collections and returns.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using forklift trucks.
- Communication with internal sales personnel to provide order status information.
- Controlling the integrity and security of all stock, including carrying out stock checks and cycle counts (PI).
- All aspects of housekeeping within the warehouse environment and associated yard areas.

What you bring:
- Essential - valid Reach truck License OR a valid M1 or M3 Combi license.
- Relevant experience of working within a warehouse environment.
- Experience of using barcode scanners and similar, related equipment.
- Experience of conducting stock checks and perpetual inventory.
- Able to use IT systems and complete data entry tasks.
- Good people skills.
- Good communication skills.
Hours of work:
Working 39 hours per week:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm & Friday 8am - 3pm.
Salary:
£13.50 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience.
