Job Title

Job Opportunity

We now have an opportunity for a Logistics Operative to join us - carrying out warehouse duties ensuring the effective and efficient control of product within Stores.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a professional level of customer service.
  • Ensuring high standards in housekeeping.
  • Taking a proactive approach to the daily stores operation.
  • Maintaining and reporting local store stock levels and monitor vending activities.
  • Ensuring that the working environment is safe for those working in and visiting the store in line with the company H&S procedures.
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement activities within the warehouse environment and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Assisting any audits, be it internal or by external auditors.
  • Ensure all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company's procedures and requirements.
  • Lead, follow up and resolve customer concerns.
  • Ensuring security of the warehouse environment and maintain access control.
  • Being a positive member of the team and contributing to the company targets and objectives.

Requirements

Please apply if you have most of the following:

  • Experience in handling and managing stock within a stores environment.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks based on agreed larger goals.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Forklift qualification - desirable.
  • Certified in Dangerous Goods handling and Aviation security - desirable.
  • Good numeracy skills and computer literacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to establish logical practical solutions.
