Logistics Operative Biggleswade
A vacancy has arisen within our Logistics department based at our Head Office in Biggleswade for a Logistics Operative.
The role contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain, Logistics Department by actively supporting the logistics team to deliver outstanding customer service, efficient and profitable operations whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times and working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork.
Your Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading consignments and machinery
- Counterbalance, VNA and HLOP forklift operations
- Vehicle marshalling across site
- Slinging/Signalling
- Accurate picking and processing of customer orders using warehouse ERP system
- Stock replenishment
- Stock checking
- Takes responsibility for self-development and continually identifies ways of improving skills and abilities
- Takes the initiative to provide suggestions and contribute to the improvement of the Logistics Operations by coming up with new ideas
- General housekeeping
- Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post.
