About Tekever
Tekever is the European leader in AI-driven Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), delivering autonomous platforms — including the AR3, AR3 EVO and AR5 — to defence, security and government customers across the UK, Europe and allied nations. Our systems have logged over 10,000 operational flight hours in Ukraine and form the aerial platform for the Royal Air Force’s StormShroud programme.
Through our five-year, £400m OVERMATCH investment programme, Tekever is building the UK’s largest drone production capability — including a new 254,000 sq ft facility in Swindon — and creating more than 1,000 highly skilled British jobs. We are a vertically integrated business spanning aerospace structures, propulsion, optical and RF payloads, avionics, communications, software and AI.
The Role
The Logistics Operator is a hands-on, shop-floor role at our West Wales Airport site. You keep parts and materials moving through the site — receiving and inspecting goods inwards, storing and picking stock, kitting and feeding the assembly and integration cells, supporting the teams that test and service our aircraft, and packing and dispatching finished aircraft and spares.
You make sure the right parts are in the right place, at the right time, in the right condition and with the right paperwork — and that what the system says we hold matches what is physically on the shelf. You work closely with Supply Chain, Production Planning & Control, Quality, the assembly and integration cells, and the flight-test and servicing teams, and you are part of building the logistics operation up from the ground as the site scales through the OVERMATCH programme.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Responsibilities
Goods-in and receiving
Receive incoming deliveries and check them against purchase orders, delivery notes and packing lists for quantity, part number and condition. Carry out ESD-safe handling and labelling, and route material for inspection where required before putaway. Record all receipts accurately and in real time in the ERP / inventory system. Report any shortages, damage, discrepancies or quality concerns promptly through the agreed process.
Stores and inventory
Put away, store and locate materials correctly, including controlled-stock and ESD-sensitive items in their designated areas. Pick stock accurately against works orders and requests. Carry out cycle counts and stock checks, and keep stock locations and system records accurate and tidy. Maintain the integrity of the physical stock and its system record so the factory’s material picture stays honest.
Kitting and line-side feed
Prepare and issue kits to the assembly, integration and other production cells against the build schedule. Replenish line-side stock and keep point-of-use materials available so production is never waiting on parts.
Test and servicing support
Move aircraft, sub-assemblies and ground support equipment safely between stores, the workshops, the hangar and the flight line for test and servicing. Issue and control the parts, consumables, batteries and tooling needed for drone test, servicing, maintenance and repair, keeping serialised and rotable items tracked through the repair loop. Receive aircraft and assemblies returning from flight test and from the field, book them in, and route them for servicing, repair or re-test. Build and issue spares packs, field-service kits and deployment kits to support test campaigns and customer trials. Manage the storage, handling and issue of batteries, payloads and other controlled items used in test and servicing, in line with safety and dangerous-goods requirements.
Dispatch and shipping
Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling, protection and documentation. Generate shipping paperwork, including packing lists, transport documents and dangerous goods declarations (ADR / IATA) where required. Inspect outgoing shipments against the order to confirm accuracy before they leave site. Coordinate collections with carriers and couriers and support timely customer and inter-site dispatches.
Equipment, safety and housekeeping
Operate forklifts, pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment safely and within your authorisation. Work to all health, safety and security procedures, and handle goods correctly and securely at all times. Keep the warehouse, stores and dispatch areas clean, organised and audit-ready (5S). Support continuous improvement of logistics processes and ways of working.
