About the role
You'll be joining our team based in our Eastbourne Manufacturing centre, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, test and packing of Paxton products.
- Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
- Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock and accurate recording of stock on the internal database system.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves by hand, manual handling equipment or a forklift truck.
- To load goods for despatch and some jobs will include delivering to other Paxton sites.
- Raising and completing all required despatch documentation.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer along with performing regular stock counting and location checks.

We are looking for an operative to join us on our late shift which runs Monday & Tuesday, 09:00 - 19:15, Wednesday & Thursday 09:00 - 19:00.

- Be able to adapt in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
- Any previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing is preferred.
- The right attitude is more important to us than your skills or experience. If you're excited about a role but your existing experience doesn't match up with every element of the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
