Logistics Procurement Lead

Logistics Procurement Lead Leeds (Hybrid – 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH) Up to £80,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Bonus

Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategic procurement across key logistics spend, with a primary focus on road transportation and additional responsibility for ocean freight
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and manage key supplier relationships
  • Act as the procurement lead for senior stakeholders across logistics and supply chain functions
  • Identify commercial performance improvements, supplier capability enhancements, and long-term value creation
  • Contribute to a fast-moving procurement function where decisions are agile and procurement holds real strategic influence

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • Strong logistics procurement experience (operational logistics expertise alone will not suffice)
  • Category expertise in road transportation, with ocean freight experience highly desirable
  • Proven capability in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
