At Proximo, the UK’s leading provider of specialist and adapted replacement vehicles, we are dedicated to keeping people on the move. When vehicles are out of action, we step in to provide replacements, ensuring our customers maintain their independence and mobility.
We are now looking for a proactive Quality Auditor to join our Learning & Development team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll assess the performance of our operational colleagues across customer interactions, vehicle handovers, inspections, and branch processes—always with safety and best practice at the forefront. You’ll work closely with our Branch Managers and Trainers, providing clear feedback, delivering targeted coaching, and helping colleagues unlock their full potential.
What you’ll be doing
- Conduct structured assessments during live operational tasks, including vehicle handovers, inspections, customer interactions, and branch processes.
- Observe and assess safe working practices, including vehicle checks, damage identification, and customer safety briefings.
- Provide clear, evidence-based feedback and document assessment outcomes accurately.
- Deliver 1-1 coaching to close skill gaps and reinforce best practice in customer service, operational efficiency, and safety.
- Work with branch managers to embed consistent standards across teams.
- Ensure colleagues follow correct procedures for vehicle preparation, appraisals, damage reporting, and branch operations.
- Identify non-compliance or risk areas and escalate where necessary.
- Analyse assessment data to spot trends, recurring issues, and training needs.
- Collaborate with our branch trainer to refine competency frameworks and training content.
- Build strong working relationships with branch managers and operational teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
