Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Office based OR Hybrid: 4 days a week in the office. 1 day at home. Could be flexible.
Job Status: Permanent
Start: ASAP
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.15pm (Can flex), 45 min break (37.5 hour week)

What You'll be Doing:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager in Sweden, this role acts as the UK logistics lead and is responsible for supporting stock availability, delivery performance, logistics efficiency, and customer service across the UK market. You will lead day-to-day UK logistics activity, working closely with Sales, Key Accounts, the UK Order Desk, customer supply chains, 3PL partners, and Head Office teams. The role also owns the UK demand forecast, working with UK commercial teams to ensure forecast accuracy supports stock planning and customer requirements.
Logistics Operations:
- Coordinate inbound requirements and outbound shipments to UK customers.
- Oversee the flow of goods from Sweden and Latvia through warehousing and transportation to customers.
- Work with 3PL partners to ensure deliveries are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues in line with company processes.
- Liaise with customer supply chain teams to support smooth order flow and high service levels.
- Work closely with the UK Order Desk to ensure a seamless customer experience from order placement through to delivery.
- Support compliance with customs, transport, safety, and quality requirements.

UK Forecasting & Stock Planning:
- Own the UK demand forecast, working closely with Sales and Key Account teams.
- Share UK forecast requirements with Head Office planning and warehouse teams to support stock availability.
- Monitor UK stock levels, identifying risks to availability or excess inventory.
- Support stock management and inventory accuracy processes.
- Provide forecast and stock updates to relevant UK and Head Office stakeholders.
3PL & Supplier Coordination:
- Manage day-to-day communication with UK 3PL partners.
- Monitor 3PL performance against agreed service levels and KPIs.
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities with logistics partners.
- Support route optimisation and transport cost efficiency while maintaining service levels.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
- Produce regular reporting on logistics performance, stock availability, service levels, and forecast accuracy.
- Track key logistics KPIs including On-Time Delivery, OTIF, inventory accuracy, and service performance.
- Support logistics budget tracking by monitoring costs and highlighting variances.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, stock flow, delivery performance, and customer service.
- Support audits, reporting activities, optimisation projects, and traceability or recall exercises.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, customer operations, or demand planning ideally within FMCG, retail, wholesale, or food supply chains.
- Comfortable working in an international supply chain environment, balancing UK customer needs with Head Office planning and warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of UK customer supply chains and experience with booking into retail portals.
- Experience working with 3PL providers.
- Confident managing shipment coordination and delivery performance.
- Able to produce accurate forecasts and reporting.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Good commercial awareness and cost focus.
- Confident communicator across internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with international teams and warehouse operations.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
