Responsibilities
Reporting into the Logistics Department Manager you will be responsible for Supervising a team of Logistics Operatives ensuring all customer orders are dispatched safely and on time and that our raw materials are stored correctly and made available for our production teams.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure team are trained to the required standard and all new starters have a meaningful and effective induction to the business
- Ensure Company Health and Safety and Hygiene rules are always adhered to
- Ensure all Customer requirements (internal and external) are met in full wherever possible
- Liaise/communicate with all areas/departments where necessary
- Responsible for H&S and GMP across Raw, Drystores and Despatch areas
- Manage holidays for shift to ensure appropriate crewing levels to meet business needs
- Manage absence
- Ensuring supply of Packaging to Unitize and Production
- Full Logistics area responsibility when on nights or in the absence of Logistics Department Manager
- Ensure smooth communications between hauliers and planning/production so that when collections times change production can still achieve 100% finished goods availability
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience of supervising a team of logistics operatives or warehouse staff
- Possess and promotes a positive attitude
- Motivated and results driven, with the ability to inspire others to deliver

Shift pattern
We operate a rotational shift pattern covering 7 to 7 covering days and nights. You will work a total of 14 days over a 28-day period. Typically you would be working as follows:
- Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday
