Logistics Technician (M/W)

Axima Nuclear (900 employees, €217M revenue in 2025), an Equans entity, is the European leader in nuclear ventilation and fluid process systems. With more than 50 years of experience, we deliver end-to-end solutions ranging from engineering to maintenance for nuclear facilities. Our expertise covers new builds, modifications, and decommissioning preparation.
As part of our growth, we are looking for our future:
Logistics Technician (M/W)
Location: Bristol (UK)
Role Responsibilities:
- Execute the efficient delivery and shipment coordination, receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and equipment across the Client warehouse (J24), HLH, and AXIMA interim warehouses located in Cullompton, Portbury, Lower Weare, and Highbridge.
- Monitor maintenance activities at AXIMA’s interim warehouse.
- Ensure accurate inventory control, safe and compliant storage, proper logistics documentation, and effective coordination of export activities with the customs broker.

Your role and responsibilities:
- Maintain the Project Logistics Tracker up to date at all times.
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Manage inventory control by maintaining accurate stock records and monitoring remaining quantities, usage, forecasted deliveries, and maintenance reporting.
- Oversee interim warehouse providers to ensure the safe operation of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks).
- Ensure safe storage of goods in accordance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
- Prepare shipping documentation and update logistics systems accordingly.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies or delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and health & safety procedures.

Your profile:
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and warehouse systems).
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable and adaptable, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
