At EGGER, we’re offering an inspiring placement opportunity for a Logistics Undergraduate to join our Transport Planning team. Make real-world contributions while gaining hands-on experience across UK and European logistics operations.
This practical placement will equip you with industry skills and meaningful responsibilities tailored to support your career growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As a Logistics Undergraduate Placement, you’ll contribute to:
- Collaborating with the Transport Planning team to coordinate and schedule deliveries across the UK and Europe
- Assisting in daily and weekly operational planning, including route planning and logistics scheduling
- Supporting customs documentation, data entry, and compliance checks
- Contributing to transport and customs data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Supporting efficiency and service improvements through continuous process optimisation
- Liaising with internal teams, warehouses, carriers, and customer service to ensure smoother operations
- Engaging in cross-border logistics and international supply chain activities

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to:
✔️ Be in your second year of studying Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline ✔️ Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills ✔️ Be proactive, highly organised, and self-motivated ✔️ Be proficient in using:
- MS Office 365
- Excel (complex calculations, data analysis preferred)
- Teams for collaboration ✔️ Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing ✔️ Maintain additional flexibility when necessary for shifting tasks or deadlines ✔️ Detail-oriented, ensuring high accuracy in tasks ✔️ Passionate about learning within a dynamic logistics environment ✔️ Familiarity with logistics software, including SAP (highly advantageous but not mandatory)
