About the Opportunity
We’re recruiting a London Global Broker Relationship Manager to shape our UK broker strategy and foster strategic relationships that drive growth. This role sits at the heart of a dynamic market-facing team, where your insight, relationship-building skills, and business acumen will play a pivotal role in strengthening our presence in the Specialty/Synthetic Environments (Sirius) market.
About the Role
As the Global Broker Relationship Manager, you will:
- Build and deepen relationships – Develop strategic partnerships with key brokers to deliver trust and long-term collaboration.
- Drive distribution strategy – Own and implement broker strategies across the UK portfolio, working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Support underwriters – Introduce new business opportunities and engage brokers to boost growth.
- Maximise broker potential – Monitor performance, identify trends, and recommend actions to enhance profitability and broker satisfaction.
- Collaborate across teams – Champion regional initiatives, share best practices, and contribute to portfolio solutions that refine our client offering.
- Thumb on the market pulse – Stay informed about evolving industry trends and drive innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Management
- Build trust and strengthen partnerships with major global brokers, focusing on high-value client groups.
- Drive growth by identifying and seizing opportunities to develop broker relationships and enhance distribution strategies.
- Act as a broker advocate within Zurich’s decision-making processes, ensuring our approach aligns with broker needs and market trends.
Distribution Leadership
- Lead execution of broker strategies across the UK, liaising with cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated action.
- Support broker sales by fostering engagement, aligning underwriters with broker opportunities, and resolving challenges proactively.
- Analyse and report broker performance data, translating insights into actionable growth plans.

Requirements and Skills
Essential
- Industry expertise: Strong understanding of the London market, Specialty insurance, and Global Brokers, with commercial awareness shaping strategic decisions.
- Relationship-building: Proven ability to influences stakeholders across levels, driving outcomes over short- and medium-term horizons.
- Creativity + outcomes focus: Identifies and pursues growth opportunities with learnings translating into improved broker relationships and broader distribution strategy.
- Collaboration:Comfortable working across UK offices, departments, and senior team members.
- Excellent communication: Puts clarity and proactive updates at the heart of every interaction, both internally and externally.
Bonus
- Previous experience in broker relationship management, commercial insurance, or business development roles.
- Industry recognition or awards reinforcing proficiency and impact in broker engagement.
