This role
This role plays a key part in driving onsite conversion and optimising product discoverability through effective site merchandising. It supports the Discovery Optimisation Specialists to uphold site standards and enhance the customer journey, while managing ad-hoc business queries related to discoverability and performance. The role also oversees enrichment, ensuring products are live promptly, accurately categorised, and contributing to an engaging, conversion-focused site experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Lead the accurate categorisation, classification, and tagging of products to ensure a consistent, conversion-optimised site experience.
- Merchandise product pages for maximum visibility and performance, leveraging both manual and algorithmic placements.
- Run and share key availability and “stock not online” reports, providing insight to stakeholders and guiding go-live priorities.
- Conduct daily site checks, document issues, and drive timely resolution to maintain a seamless customer journey.
- Deliver onsite updates across categories, SEO links, search, and navigation in line with trading and optimisation priorities.
- Support offer and full-price launches, ensuring all onsite elements are delivered accurately and on deadline.
- Contribute to competitor analysis and weekly performance reporting to inform ongoing discovery optimisation.
- Maintain and enhance ecommerce briefs with relevant discovery inputs including CTAs, links, and tagging.
- Use CMS systems to execute onsite activity and ensure all related training documentation is current and comprehensive.
- Manage file transfers and communication with the Capita offshore team, ensuring accessibility, task alignment, and prioritisation.
- Escalate BAU or technical issues to IT and Accenture to safeguard business continuity.

ABOUT YOU
- Team player with strong organisational and communication skills
- Customer-focused, commercially aware, and passionate about eCommerce
- Adaptable, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable for accuracy and delivery
- Analytical mindset with a curiosity for trading performance and optimisation
- Prior experience using CMS platforms to deliver onsite content and merchandising updates
- Competent in Excel for reporting and analysis
- Basic understanding of SEO, site search, and navigation principles
- Familiar with reporting tools and dashboards for monitoring product and site performance
- Comfortable managing files, documentation, and process updates across teams
