Lorry Tramper Driver
HGV Lorry Driver – Tramper (Aberdeen)
Job Introduction
We are currently looking for an HGV Lorry Driver – Tramper to join our friendly team based at Aberdeen.
Main Responsibilities
As a successful HGV Lorry Driver – Tramper, you will be responsible for the delivery of Tarmac bulk and packed cement between Tarmac sites and to customers, as well as other duties in line with business needs. The role adheres to all relevant statutory legislation, along with internal company Safety, Health and Environmental Standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Loading and delivering Tarmac bulk & packed cement to a range of ready-mix and concrete product customers
- Performing First Line Maintenance duties on the vehicle
- Using fixed access steps to complete the loading process

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver, ideally within the construction environment or similar
- The ability to use their own initiative and communicate effectively with a busy office for instructions.
Specific Requirements
- HGV Class 1 licence
- A valid Digital Tacho Card
- A valid CPC Qualification Card
- Experience operating bulk tankers (desirable) – previous experience with cement or building products not required, as full training will be provided
