Company Description
TopMark Adjusters Ltd is a Chartered Loss Adjusting firm based in Glasgow and providing coverage across the UK. The company specialises in Property claims (commercial and domestic), Business Interruption claims, a wide range of Liability claims and Third Party Liability claims.
Role Description
This is a full-time post open to UK wide applicants.
You will handle all types of property claims from first notification through to settlement. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Reviewing policy coverage
- Gathering evidence
- Conducting site visits
- Interviewing relevant parties
- Preparing clear, accurate reports and recommendations
The role involves negotiating fair settlements with insurers, policyholders, and other stakeholders, while managing a caseload efficiently and within agreed service standards.

The role will require you to collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners to support technical quality, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- Strong claims handling experience, including end-to-end management of property claims.
- Proficiency in claims adjustments and claims management processes, with the ability to evaluate loss and recommend fair settlements.
- Solid understanding of insurance principles and policy wordings, particularly in Property Claims and Business Interruption.
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with insurers and policyholders.
- Ability to organize workload, prioritize multiple cases, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CILA or progress toward chartered status) are helpful but not absolutely necessary.
- Experience of loss adjusting, a valid driving license, and willingness to travel for site visits is necessary.
