Loss Prevention Officer – TK Maxx (Join Our Team in Solihull)

At TJX Europe, every day brings new opportunities for growth, achievement, and making a real difference. As the world’s leading off-price retailer of clothing and homeware, we put our customers first. With thousands of stores worldwide, we’re dedicated to delivering a positive, memorable shopping experience.

Come and join our dynamic team—a Fortune 100 company where diversity, collaboration, and personal development are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

Could you become one of our Loss Prevention Officers?

As a Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) at TK Maxx, your key role will be to:

  • Support a positive customer experience by ensuring the store remains safe, secure, and welcoming.
  • Maintain awareness of shoppers, assets, and security protocols to minimise loss and deter theft.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Loss Prevention team, helping customers and staff feel secure while shopping.
  • Work closely with the store team to resolve conflicts professionally and calmly under pressure.
  • Use clear, friendly communication to deter unsavoury behaviour whilst maintaining a patrolling presence in the store.
  • Help safeguard product integrity, ensuring customers leave with only what they have paid for.

Experience in customer-facing environments (e.g., retail or security) is beneficial but not essential. What matters most is your attitude, resilience, and commitment to upholding TJX’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve:

  • Monitoring store operations to deter and prevent loss, including shoplifting and theft.
  • Identifying and investigating suspicious behaviour whilst maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Assisting store teams in conflict resolution with a calm, professional, and effective approach.
  • Patrolling the shop floor, entrances and exit points, ensuring a visible and reassuring presence.
  • Following TJX’s security policies, including CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and access control.
  • Attending regular store safety meetings to discuss critical security updates and best practices.
  • Fostering a positive team environment—------------- helping to maintain excellent customer service and retail standards.
  • Learning and adapting to the perpetual changes in retail security with ongoing comprehensive training from day one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
