About the Role

As the Loss Prevention Officer at Homesense, you’ll help keep customers, colleagues, and assets safe while helping to create a positive shopping experience. Your role will involve:

  • Ensuring a friendly, visible presence at store entrances to enhance customer experience
  • Deterring loss and theft on the salesfloor while serving as an ambassador for ** Loss Prevention**
  • Supporting store teams to maintain high security standards
  • Delivering effective conflict resolution when needed
  • Staying calm, professional, and composed under pressure

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a visible deterrent to loss whilst being a kind and helpful welcome to customers
  • Work as part of a loss prevention team, collaborating closely with store staff
  • Use professional communication skills to escalate risks while maintaining a friendly demeanour
  • Demonstrate resilience, motivation, and a willingness to make a difference
