About the Role
Could your next chapter at TJX Europe be as a Loss Prevention Officer?
In this exciting role, you’ll be the face of security, support, and partnership across our CVT/S stores in generation, visual merchandising, and sales. As a visible, friendly, and proactive member of our teams, you’ll help safeguard our assets, customers, and stock while ensuring our doors provide a welcoming experience for every visitor.
You’ll play a key role in preventing losses, working closely with retail teams to deliver effective conflict resolution and maintain the smooth flow of our business. Whether you’ve worked on a customer-facing retail floor, in security guard roles, or anywhere that demands adaptability and vigilance—your expertise will support our goal of keeping everyone safe and our operations thriving.

Key Responsibilities
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you’ll be expected to:
- Build trust and positivity by engaging with customers as a friendly, approachable presence, welcoming them into our schemes.
- Deter loss by being vigilantly present at entrance and exit points, ensuring our stores remain secure without disrupting customer flow.
- Act as an ambassador for our Loss Prevention function, working closely with store teams to uphold security through teamwork, clear communication, and a united approach.
- Respond confidently in situations requiring conflict resolution, with a calm, professional demeanour—it’s how we get results and problems resolved.
- Protect assets by collaborating with stores to safeguard stock, reduce waste, and maintain the integrity of vital operations.
- Adapt quickly to varying store environments and customer challenges while staying helpful and proactive.

The Person We’re Looking For
We’re looking to recruit Loss Prevention Officers who:
- Have customer-facing experience—preferably in retail, security, or hospitality, although not essential.
- Are self-driven, ambitious, and eager to contribute to a collegial team environment.
- Listen actively, think on your feet, and use their skills to resolve issues diplomatically and effectively.
- Love the idea of being a visible, active part of our stores whilst keeping alertness, professionalism, and customer service at the forefront.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, retail-led environment and are passionate about keeping our operations running smoothly and positively.
