Location & Work Pattern
Location: Omega, Warrington
Shifts: Rotating Day/Night Shifts – Mon–Fri (6 AM–5 PM / 6 PM–5 AM)

About Security and Loss Prevention – Your Role
The Warehouse Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for:
- Protecting company assets
- Reducing losses
- Maintaining a safe and secure working environment within a fast-paced warehouse and fulfilment operation
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations and Team Management
- Supervise and support a team of Security Officers across warehouse operations
- Ensure all security procedures, searches, access control measures, and site patrols meet required standards
- Conduct regular audits of security processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Deliver daily briefings and ongoing coaching for Security Officers
- Report and escalate incidents, concerns, and security breaches appropriately
Loss Prevention
- Investigate stock losses, inventory discrepancies, customer order issues, theft, fraud, and operational errors
- Utilise CCTV systems, access control systems, warehouse management systems, and operational data for investigations
- Produce detailed investigation reports, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Collaborate with Inventory, Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to mitigate loss trends
- Support loss prevention initiatives to reduce shrinkage and improve stock accuracy

High-Value Asset Protection
- Oversee security controls for high-value products and sensitive client stock
- Ensure secure handling of high-value freight for compliance
- Monitor high-risk areas, including goods-in, goods-out, decant, packing, and storage
- Maintain compliance for high-value deliveries, collections, and returns
- Conduct regular reviews of security controls for high-value clients/products
Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure compliance with company security standards, client requirements, and industry accreditations (e.g., TAPA)
- Carry out security audits and inspections across the warehouse
- Monitor CCTV coverage and security equipment functionality, escalating issues
- Support internal and external audits related to security and loss prevention
Incident Management
- Lead investigations into security incidents, thefts, fraud, misconduct, and policy breaches
- Liaise with law enforcement and external agencies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of investigations and incident reports
- Identify trends and recommend preventative measures to minimise future losses
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in Loss Prevention, Security, Warehouse Security, or Asset Protection roles
- Experience managing or supervising Security Officers or operational teams
- Proven experience conducting investigations into stock loss, theft, fraud, or customer order discrepancies
- Strong understanding of warehouse and fulfilment operations
- Experience with CCTV, access control systems, and incident management processes
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure

Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience in high-value logistics, fulfilment, retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Knowledge of TAPA standards and supply chain security requirements
- Professional security qualification or relevant industry certification
- Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory platforms
