Lottery Marketing Officer
Lottery Marketing Officer Colchester/Hybrid Full-Time Permanent £28,000 – £32,000
About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, commercially minded Lottery Marketing Officer to help grow two successful charity lotteries, raising essential funds for hospices and good causes across the UK.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about graphic design, digital marketing, content creation and campaign optimisation. You’ll play a key part in recruiting new supporters, engaging existing players, and supporting charity partners to promote the lottery within their communities.
Collaborating closely with our lottery and marketing teams, you’ll deliver high-impact campaigns across digital, social media, email, web, and print—driving income that directly supports individuals facing incurable illness and bereavement.
What You’ll Do
Digital Marketing & Campaign Delivery
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (social media, PPC, email, web).
- Manage and optimise paid digital ad spend across Meta and Google Ads.
- Drive supporter acquisition, retention, and engagement through targeted strategies.
- Enhance website performance, supporter journeys, and conversion rates.
- Support SEO initiatives and digital optimisation efforts.
Content Creation & Design
- Develop compelling, audience-focused content for digital and print.
- Design marketing assets (graphics, campaign materials, promotional resources) using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Craft engaging storytelling that highlights the lottery’s impact.
- Create partner-friendly promotional tools to aid external marketing efforts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
