Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for:

Loughborough University National Tennis Academy (LUNTA) is part of the LTA's Player Pathway, providing a world-class training environment for elite junior tennis players aged 14–18. Its mission is to develop Great People, Great Performers and Great Tennis Players through outstanding coaching, holistic player support, academic development and high-performance training.

LUNTA is seeking a full-time Academy Coach to help deliver a transformative player development programme that prepares athletes for progression into the LTA Pro Scholarship Programme (PSP) and ultimately professional tennis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality coaching to individual players and groups within the Academy programme.
  • Take ownership of the development of designated players, supporting their technical, tactical, physical, academic and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs), including goal setting, reviews and progress monitoring.
  • Plan and coordinate annual, weekly and daily training and competition schedules.
  • Support and attend domestic and international tournaments, camps and Academy events.
  • Build strong relationships with players, parents and staff, ensuring effective communication and appropriate parental involvement.
  • Work collaboratively with coaches, performance support practitioners and educational staff to deliver an integrated, athlete-centred development programme.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by working with Loughborough Sport and LTA colleagues to share best practice and apply current research and innovation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
