About The Role

We're looking for an LP Relations & Fundraising Manager to help expand 16VC's investor network and support fundraising efforts. You'll build relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), including family offices, high-net-worth individuals, fund of funds, and institutional investors, while managing the fundraising pipeline from outreach to close.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with prospective and existing LPs.
  • Source and qualify new investor opportunities through networking, referrals, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Manage the fundraising pipeline, investor CRM, and follow-up process.
  • Coordinate LP meetings, roadshows, investor events, and webinars.
  • Prepare investor presentations, fundraising materials, and regular LP updates.
  • Support due diligence requests and closing activities.
  • Collaborate with the investment and leadership teams on fundraising strategy.
  • Track fundraising metrics and provide regular pipeline reports.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, wealth management, or business development.
  • Strong network and relationship-building skills with investors and financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with experience managing CRM tools and fundraising pipelines.
  • Passion for venture capital, startups, and technology.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30–40%) for LP meetings, conferences, roadshows, and fundraising events across the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and other key investor markets.

Preferred

  • Existing relationships with family offices, HNWIs, fund of funds, institutional investors, or angel investor networks.
  • Experience raising capital for venture capital, private equity, or alternative investment funds.
  • Knowledge of venture fund structures and fundraising processes.
