About the Role
As the Lunch Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe, calm, and positive lunchtime conditions for pupils. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with serving meals
- Supporting children during mealtimes, encouraging good table manners and independence
- Supervising pupils in the dining hall, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
- Reporting to teaching staff and the lunchtime team
- Maintaining hygiene and allergy procedures
This is a permanent, part-time role, available term-time only. ^{10:30am–2.00pm} (Monday–Friday, spanning 34 weeks + 5 inset days).
