Lunch Cover (10am–2pm) – Whitwick Day Nursery

Part of Grandir UK

Salary: £13,332.80 to £14,008.80 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications, with regular pay reviews)

About the Role

Our Whitwick Day Nursery is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Lunch Cover to join our passionate team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

What You’ll Do

Childcare & Support

  • Supervise and support children at all times
  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners
  • Maintain a positive and engaging environment for children’s learning and development

Operational & Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices
  • Attend staff meetings, planning sessions and undertake required training
  • Work in an inclusive, values-driven culture, demonstrating professionalism with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
