Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council

The Governors at Burnt Tree Primary School are seeking applications for a permanent Lunchtime Supervisor.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who:

  • Is committed to developing children’s learning skills
  • Enjoys working with young children
  • Values the school’s aims and values

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee safe, purposeful, and creative play during lunchtime breaks to enrich pupils’ learning
  • Ensure the smooth operation of lunchtime transitions in the dining hall
  • Work effectively within a team environment
  • Demonstrate patience and dedication in supporting young children
  • Maintain commitment to safeguarding at all times

Key Details:

  • Hours: 7.92 hours per week (over 5 days) – term time only
  • Location: Burnt Tree Primary School, Hill Road, Tividale, B69 2LN
  • Grade: Band B, SCP 4
    • Payment: £25,185 pro rata (£4,706 per annum)
    • Living Wage Supplement: £13.45 per hour (applicable from 1st April 2026)
    • Rate: £13.05 per hour
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Closing Date: Friday 10th July 2026 at 12:00 PM
