Lunchtime Supervisor (Grade 2) – St Augustine's CE Academy
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (Term Time Only, including September INSET Days)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Grade 2 (Pro Rata)
Location: St Augustine’s CE Academy Pipehay Lane, Draycott in the Clay, DE6 5BY
Start Date: 1st September 2026

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Lunchtime Supervisor to provide care and support to children during all aspects of the school lunch break. This role involves supervising and supporting pupils during mealtimes and outdoor play.

Key Responsibilities

Meal Supervision:
- Supervise children in the dinner hall during mealtimes
- Assist younger children with cutlery use
- Ensure tables and areas remain clean and tidy

Outdoor Play Support:
- Patrol playgrounds and organise games/activities

Safety & First Aid:
- Provide basic first aid in case of minor injuries
- Accurately record incidents in the accident book
Requirements
- Paediatric First Aid qualified or willing to complete training
- Experience working with children (preferably in a school setting) – desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Level 1 Safeguarding trained or willing to complete training

✔ The role is term-time only (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday). ✔ DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check required. You may be asked to disclose:
