Job Opportunity: Lunchtime Supervisor (Term-Time Temporary)
Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor
Contract: Term-Time Only Temporary (26 August 2026 – 27 September 2026)
Hours: 10 hours per week, 11.15am – 1.15pm
Salary:
- Grade 2 (Full-Time Equivalent, FTE) £25,185
- Actual salary (pro-rated) £5,729

The Role: Lunchtime Supervisor (EYFS Focus)
The position involves working closely with EYFS pupils (aged 2–3 years) in our nursery classes. Duties will include:
- Providing a safe, nurturing environment for children during lunchtimes
- Acting as a positive role model for young learners
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and child welfare
- Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere
Person Specification
We are looking for lunchtime supervisors who demonstrate:
- Reliability, flexibility, and commitment to their role
- A professional and respectful approach to both children and adults
- A genuine duty of care mindset to safeguard children’s welfare
- Ambitious yet compassionate abilities to encourage engagement and well-behaved behaviours
No prior experience is required, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
