Head Concierge
This Head Concierge position is working in a prestigious, high-end development consisting of 40 luxury apartments, an office unit, and a café. As the Head Day Concierge, you will play a pivotal front-facing role in maintaining the building’s reputation for excellence. You will be responsible for creating a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for all residents, visitors, and contractors, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front-of-house service. A commitment to exceptional service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to leave a lasting positive impression are essential.
Reporting to:
Building Manager and Property Manager
Hours of work: Rotational shift patterns 4 days on and 4 days off from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Holiday allowance: 24 days pro rata (excluding Bank and Public Holidays) paid holiday in any one complete holiday year.

Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain Exceptional Presentation Standards
Ensure the reception and concierge areas are consistently clean, organised, and presentable. This includes proactively addressing any issues that detract from the appearance or smooth operation of the front desk. - Demonstrate Professionalism and Personal Presentation
Uphold a courteous, approachable, and professional demeanor at all times. A clean, well-kept uniform and polished appearance are essential to representing the standards of Merano Residences. - Execute Managerial Instructions
Follow all reasonable directions provided by the Building Manager and Property Manager, supporting the delivery of a well-run and compliant building. - Build Strong Professional Relationships
Act as the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and guests. Foster positive relationships, handle enquiries efficiently, and ensure every interaction reflects the quality of service expected at a luxury development. - Manage Key Handling and Logging Procedures
Oversee secure handling of resident and contractor keys, ensuring logs are accurately maintained in line with established procedures. - Conduct Daily Site Walk-Throughs
Carry out routine building inspections to identify maintenance concerns, ensure health & safety standards are upheld, report any hazards, and escalate issues promptly. - Support Smooth Building Operations
Assist with deliveries, contractor access, resident enquiries, and other operational tasks to help maintain the building’s high standards.

- Front-of-House Experience
Previous experience in a concierge, reception, hospitality, or luxury service environment with a strong track record of delivering outstanding customer service. - Excellent Communication Skills
Confident, clear, and professional communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders. - Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage responsibilities autonomously while also contributing positively within a team environment. - Strong Time Management and Problem-Solving Ability
Capable of prioritising tasks, handling unexpected situations calmly, and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
