Luxury Travel -BDM
Our client is a globally recognised travel company with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional travel experiences. Operating across international markets, they are passionate about creating unforgettable journeys and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking two experienced Business Development Managers to join their UK sales team.
The Role
This is an exciting field-based opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to develop business across Scotland and the North of the UK or in the South of England. Working closely with travel agency partners, you will drive brand awareness, maximise sales performance, and identify new business opportunities within both B2B and consumer markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong trade relationships, delivering engaging presentations and training sessions, and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious growth targets.

- Territory: Scotland & North UK or South of England
- Working Pattern: Four days per week in the field, one day working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key travel agency partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and growth markets.
- Create and execute activity plans to maximise revenue and market share.
- Deliver product training, workshops, webinars, and presentations to trade partners.
- Organise and participate in educational and familiarisation trips.
- Represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Produce regular reports on sales performance, market intelligence, and opportunities.
- Ensure effective management of budgets and return on investment for sales activities.

About You
- A hunter with experience in a Business Development role.
- Previous sales experience within the travel industry, either retail or wholesale.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Excellent presentation and training abilities.
- Commercially focused with strong negotiation skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a large geographic territory.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Comfortable travelling extensively throughout the region, including regular overnight stays and occasional evening or weekend work.
