About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Grantham as LV / HV Cable Jointer, this position is working on our NGED contract, and you will be responsible for the quality and compliance to standard of workmanship and others working on the project ensuring compliance with authorisation procedures.

As a LV / HV Cable Jointer you will be
- Working on development sites and the public highway. Have good knowledge and understanding of utility plans.
- Undertaking all cable jointing and network energisation activities.
- The role is to be responsible for the installation of electrical connections, preparation and use of tools and machinery, preparation of work sites for various works
- Ensuring completion of projects to agreed specifications and timescales.
What You Will Bring
- Cable Jointer – Qualification or equivalent, and hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card with a valid First Aid qualification
- DNO operational Authorisation Technical status and a qualified electrical engineer
For this position you will have proven experience working with HV and a good understanding of sustainability, health and safety. You also need to be flexible to carry out stand-by duties and attend short notice work in the event of severe weather.

- Knowledge of relevant DNO Policies and Procedures and a Driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel and work in different locations.
- A proven track record in construction, repair and operation of electrical plant and equipment up to 33kV and should have a sound HV electrical knowledge
We require DBS Clearance for the position as you will be working with the general public.
