LV (Low Voltage Switchgear) Sales Estimator - Kendal, UK

We’re expanding our extraordinary teams, and we’re hiring a new LV (Low Voltage Switchgear) Sales Estimator based in Kendal, UK.
Key Responsibilities
A typical day includes but is not limited to:
- Estimating all types of Low Voltage Switchgear enquiries
- Managing enquiries and meeting deadlines
- Liaising with clients (phone-based) to enhance customer relations
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with:
- Clients
- Colleagues
- Third-party associates
- Promoting Anord Mardix products/services
- Expanding customer base
- Optimising design, services, and client liaison
- Handling administrative tasks relating to sales operations
- Supporting internal departments to:
- Maximise project efficiency and profitability
- Conducting routine client follow-ups
- Collaborating with the external sales team to secure new orders and clients

Requirements & Skills
Sector-specific experience is considered highly beneficial (though training provided), but candidates must demonstrate:
- Excellent customer service skills
- High proficiency in numeracy and literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft-based systems, including:
- Outlook
- Word
- Excel
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Work independently and in a team
- Manage time effectively
- Apply attention to detail
- Act as a forward planner
- Make informed decisions (budget evaluations, valuations)
- Capability to:
- Define problems, collect relevant data, and draw evidence-based conclusions
- Adapt to shifting priorities with minimal guidance
- Legal eligibility: Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom
