Nursery Assistant / Support Worker
NHS Grampian Nurseries
We are pleased to offer applicants the opportunity to join our Little Acorns Day Nursery team as one of our Nursery Assistants/Support Workers.
The post holder will contribute to the daily care, learning and development of children aged 6 months to 5 years, supporting planned activities and routines in line with best practice and regulatory requirements. This includes engaging with children at their individual developmental stages and ensuring that these are met through both indoor and outdoor play.
These posts would suit individuals who have some previous experience of working with children aged from 6 months up to 5 years and who are motivated to develop their childcare career within NHS Grampian Nurseries. Applicants should demonstrate a caring and proactive approach, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and good communication skills to support children, families and colleagues.

Qualifications
Applicants must be willing to work towards, or already hold, the relevant SSSC qualifications for the Support Worker role, such as:
- SVQ Level 2 Social Services (Children and Young People)
- NC in Childhood Practice
- or an equivalent qualification

Flexibility is required, with posts working between 6.45am and 6.00pm on a rotational basis.
