Join our small, friendly, and highly skilled Lymphoedema Service at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust as our new Band 7 Lymphoedema Clinician and Team Leader.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated clinician to lead our community based service, delivering high quality care to people living with lymphoedema across the local area. You’ll run a mix of community clinics and domiciliary visits, providing specialist assessment, treatment, and ongoing management.
As Team Leader, you’ll also take on line management responsibilities, supporting the development and wellbeing of our small, supportive team.
What you’ll be doing
Leading the lymphoedema team — providing clinical leadership, supervision, and service development input. Running community clinics — delivering specialist assessment and treatment, clinics run at The Beacon Centre, Haslemere Hospital, Woking, Farnham and Staines. Carrying out home visits — ensuring accessible care for patients with mobility or health challenges. Driving service quality — helping shape the future of our lymphoedema provision.
The Band 7 Lymphoedema Clinical Specialist takes a lead role on the lymphoedema service and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team on the provision treatment for those with cancer and non-cancer related lymphoedema.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
