Role Description

The M Director role at ELENA DECOR LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Luton. The M Director oversees daily operations, including scheduling and supervising painting and decorating projects, managing teams, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. This role involves coordinating with clients, providing quotes, monitoring budgets, and resolving any on-site issues that arise. The M Director supports staff development, maintains compliance with health and safety regulations, and contributes to business planning and process improvement.

  • Experience leading or managing teams in painting, decorating, construction, or a related trade, with strong people management and supervision skills.
  • Solid understanding of painting and decorating techniques, materials, tools, and quality standards, with the ability to guide and review on-site work.
  • Project coordination skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring progress to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers, and handling feedback or concerns professionally.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, risk assessment, and compliance relevant to on-site painting and decorating activities.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Luton, with flexibility to respond to operational needs and support teams across multiple projects.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or director-level role in a trade or service-based business is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant vocational training or certifications in painting, decorating, construction management, or a related field would be an advantage.
