Excellent opportunity for M365 Core-view Architect to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice.

Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.

Key Responsibilities

M365 Architecture & Governance

  • Design and govern enterprise-wide Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms including:
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive for Business
    • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Define standards, governance frameworks, security controls, and operational guardrails.
  • Establish role-based administration and delegated access models using CoreView capabilities.
  • Drive platform modernization and adoption initiatives.

CoreView Automation Strategy

  • Lead implementation of CoreView as the governance and automation platform for M365 services.
  • Design low-code and no-code automation workflows using CoreView.
  • Develop catalog-driven automation for:
    • Distribution Lists
    • Shared Mailboxes
    • Teams provisioning
    • SharePoint site provisioning
    • Resource mailbox management
    • User lifecycle management
    • Licensing workflows
  • Integrate CoreView with ServiceNow to enable self-service provisioning and governance workflows.

  • Architect solutions for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Advise on collaboration best practices, lifecycle management, and governance.
  • Design enterprise federation and B2B collaboration strategies.
  • Implement guest access, external sharing, and cross-tenant collaboration controls.
  • Support Teams Voice, Teams Rooms, and Meeting Room governance initiatives.

Migration & Transformation

  • Lead enterprise migration initiatives including:
    • Teams migrations
    • SharePoint migrations
    • Exchange Online migrations
    • Conference Room migrations
    • Tenant-to-tenant migrations
  • Define migration architectures, validation strategies, rollback plans, and operational readiness models.
  • Automate migration activities wherever feasible using CoreView, ServiceNow, Microsoft Graph, and PowerShell.

Federation & External Collaboration

  • Design and govern federation access policies for external partners and vendors.
  • Implement secure collaboration frameworks using Entra ID, Conditional Access, and guest access governance.
  • Provide architectural guidance for B2B/B2B Direct Connect and cross-tenant collaboration scenarios.

Automation & Integration

  • Build integrations leveraging:
    • CoreView APIs
    • Microsoft Graph
    • PowerShell
    • ServiceNow
    • Power Automate
    • Azure Automation
  • Drive automation roadmap across collaboration services and operational support processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery efficiency.

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure alignment with M365 security and compliance standards.
  • Partner with Security teams on:
    • Conditional Access
    • MFA
    • DLP
    • Auditing
    • eDiscovery
    • Information Protection
  • Establish monitoring, reporting, and governance dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • Good experience in Microsoft 365 architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive
    • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Deep knowledge of CoreView platform administration, governance, and workflow automation.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Microsoft Graph API
    • PowerShell
    • ServiceNow IntegrationHub
    • Azure Automation
    • Power Platform

Migration Experience

  • Proven experience leading:
    • Teams migrations
    • SharePoint migrations
    • Exchange migrations
    • Conference Room migrations
    • Tenant consolidation projects

Governance & Collaboration

  • Experience implementing:
    • Federation access controls
    • Cross-tenant collaboration
    • External sharing governance
    • Teams lifecycle management
    • SharePoint governance models

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • CoreView Administration / Architecture Certifications (preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation
