M365 Technical Lead / Specialist - Contract
A leading organisation in the Cardiff area requires an M365 Technical Lead to join its growing team on a contract basis.
Duties
- Providing hands-on technical lead for Microsoft 365, focused on Power Platform and Automation
- Owning the setup, oversight, and technical direction for M365 capability, supporting a process automation programme
- Acting as the technical point of contact between internal teams and 3rd party delivery partners
Experience Required
- Microsoft 365 (core services)
- Power Platform (especially Power Automate)
- Coupled with experience of supporting:
- Process automation / RPA initiatives
- 3rd party delivery teams
- Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor / technical lead
- Good understanding of governance, security, and regulated environments

Other Responsibilities
- M365 Technical Ownership - including owning M365 configuration required for automation use cases and ensuring environment is secure, scalable, and aligned to internal standards
- Power Platform & Automation Delivery
- Lead design and enablement of solutions using both Power Automate and Power Platform
- Supporting POC delivery for RPA / process automation with 3rd party
- Providing direction and governance to external delivery partners
- Validating designs, configurations, and outputs
- Supporting delivery of automation POC (process automation focus)
- Ensuring outputs are production-ready or scalable
- Supporting rollout and enablement of M365 Copilot capability
- Aligning configuration, controls, and use cases to business needs
