M&A Director (Financial Services sector)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Corporate Finance team that is investing heavily in the expansion of its Financial Services offering.
The team advises a broad range of clients across Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management, FinTech, Payments, Banking and Specialty Finance, providing strategic M&A and lead advisory services on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a key role in the continued growth of a high-performing practice, working directly with senior leadership whilst taking ownership of client relationships, transaction execution and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities Lead and execute M&A and lead advisory mandates from origination through to completion. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, private equity and financial sponsor clients. Support and drive business development activities across the Financial Services sector. Manage and mentor junior team members across live transactions. Contribute to the strategic growth of the Financial Services Corporate Finance practice.
Requirements Proven M&A, Lead Advisory, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking experience. Strong Financial Services sector exposure, ideally across one or more of Insurance, FinTech, Payments, Banking, Wealth Management or Asset Management. Demonstrable experience leading transactions and managing client relationships. Commercially minded with strong business development capabilities. ACA, CFA or equivalent qualifications advantageous.
