About Circeus
Circeus is an AI-native holding that acquires and scales mission-critical B2B software businesses globally. We serve 200,000+ businesses across diverse verticals, focusing on high-retention, deeply embedded software.
We acquire high-quality SaaS companies and accelerate their growth through a centralised AI platform, driving both revenue expansion and operational efficiency. We operate as long-term owners, continuously improving products through applied AI.
The Role
This is a hands-on internship on the team that finds, evaluates, and acquires the software businesses that join Circeus, based in our London office. You will sit close to live deals from first look through to diligence, building the analysis that informs whether we pursue a target.
Day to day, you will screen inbound and sourced opportunities, build financial models, and pull together the market and product context the team needs to move quickly. You will work directly with investors and operators, and see how an acquisition travels from a broker email to a signed deal.
This role is ideal for someone analytical, commercially curious, and eager to learn how software companies are valued and acquired. Comfort with numbers is essential, while an interest in how AI is reshaping software will give you an edge.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
