M&A Strategy Associate

M&A + Strategy Associate at Fuse Energy

About the Role

Fuse Energy is a groundbreaking renewable energy startup pioneering a radical shift in the energy landscape. By merging innovative thinking and cutting-edge technology, we aim to deliver terawatts of renewable energy while scaling rapidly. Backed by top investors—including Multicoin, Bakpton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Rivbit, Box Group—and strategic figures like Nico Rosberg (Solana co-founder), Fuse is building a fully integrated energy company: from renewable projects (solar, wind, battery) to real-time power trading and direct-to-consumer sales, all while eliminating traditional middlemen to lower costs and maximize savings.

The role of M&A + Strategy Associate is dynamic, emphasizing end-to-end ownership of deals and strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for a hands-on candidate with expertise in acquisitions, corporate development, or investment—transitioning from analysis to execution as a key builder in a scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Acquisition Ownership
    • Sourcing and screening potential targets
    • Conducting valuation, due diligence, structuring, and negotiation
    • Closing deals from initial idea to completion

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
