M&A Technology Integrations Manager

TechTrace Partners are working with a global professional-services organisation to hire an IT Integrations Manager. The role is focused on integrating acquired and separated businesses into a secure, stable and consistent technology environment.
About the Role
You will take ownership from the initial technical assessment through migration planning, cutover, stabilisation and handover into business-as-usual support. This is not a software, API or application integration role. It is a corporate IT position covering acquisitions, mergers, divestments and wider organisational change.
Responsibilities
- Assessing the existing technology environment of acquired or separated businesses
- Building practical integration and migration plans
- Coordinating technical teams across infrastructure, cloud, networks, identity and workplace technology
- Planning cutovers, contingency arrangements and post-go-live support
- Managing risks, dependencies, budgets and delivery milestones
- Working with senior stakeholders and external delivery partners
- Supporting the transition into stable business-as-usual operations
- Improving the processes and playbooks used for future integrations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
