Machine Learning Engineer
Machine Learning Engineer (AI Data Trainer)
About The Role
What if your technical expertise could directly shape how the world's most advanced AI systems think, plan, and solve problems? We're looking for Machine Learning Engineers to help train cutting-edge large language models — not by writing model code, but by doing something arguably more impactful: teaching AI how to reason.
This project is about capturing the thinking behind the action. You'll author structured reasoning traces that show how an intelligent system should plan, use tools, and make decisions step by step — creating the training data that makes next-generation AI more reliable in the real world.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for technically minded people who think clearly, write precisely, and love working on hard problems.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
