About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team based in Lincolnshire. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and machine learning projects focused on advanced signal processing and automation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying machine learning models that convert complex data into actionable intelligence, directly impacting mission-critical operations. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in machine learning, data analysis, and signal processing. A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required, with advanced degrees preferred. Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models within data-intensive environments such as signal recognition, communications, RF, defense, aerospace, or telecommunications is essential. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn are expected. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods. Security clearance or eligibility for SC clearance is highly desirable, though candidates willing to undergo clearance will also be considered. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models tailored to signal processing and automation challenges. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing machine learning algorithms for signal recognition and classification tasks.
- Extracting meaningful signals from complex, noisy datasets to improve detection accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Applying AI techniques to automate detection workflows and GUI operations, including intelligent frequency band selection.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective ML solutions.
- Conducting data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Optimizing models for deployment in real-world environments, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and signal processing to continuously enhance project outcomes.
