Role Overview
Our client is hiring Statistics Experts to train AI in interpreting and solving complex quantitative problems. As a domain expert, you will:
- Create rigorous analytical prompts in Statistics
- Evaluate AI model responses for statistical accuracy
- Ensure AI maintains the highest standards of quantitative reasoning—entirely remotely, with a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models
- Craft challenging analytical prompts and compose expert-level answers in Statistics
- Evaluate and rank AI-generated domain-specific responses for accuracy and correctness
- Review and correct AI-generated reasoning chains for statistical validity
- Provide clear, precise written feedback on quantitative reasoning and methodology
- Collaborate with the Outlier expert community to uphold quality standards

Required Skills
- Fluency in written English—ability to explain advanced statistical concepts clearly
- Strong analytical reasoning and rigorous attention to quantitative detail
- Experience working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science (statistics focus), Operations Research, Machine Learning (statistical emphasis), or Quantitative Psychology
- Professional experience as a statistician, biostatistician, data scientist, quantitative researcher, or in a comparable highly technical/analytical role

Compensation
- $150 USD/hour (maximum)
- Weekly payments via supported platforms (e.g., PayPal, AirTM)
