We are currently recruiting for Machine Minder to join our team at King's Lynn site!

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 22:00pm to 6:00am.

You will be working in a chilled food manufacturing environment and will be responsible for ensuring your production area operates correctly, safely, and efficiently at all times. You will play a key role in maintaining production performance, quality standards, food safety requirements, and ensuring machinery is operating effectively to meet daily production targets.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

  • Ensure your area is kept clean, tidy, and maintained to GMP standards at all times.
  • Ensure all safety standards are followed and raise any safety concerns immediately.
  • Complete all quality checks and ensure documentation is completed accurately and forwarded in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and control Critical Control Points (CCPs) effectively.
  • Set machines to the correct settings for each product and make adjustments where required.
  • Operate machinery in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain equipment with care.
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure consistent speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Report machine breakdowns lasting longer than 15 minutes to the Engineering Department.
  • Check the operation of safety guards and devices before and during production.
  • Work closely with the production team to achieve daily targets and departmental objectives.
  • Comply with all food handling, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
