About Us

Woodlands Home and Garden Group is a growing UK manufacturing and distribution business, best known for our Tiger Sheds branded garden buildings and home improvement products. We design, manufacture, and deliver high-quality timber buildings to customers across the UK, combining practical craftsmanship with scale and innovation. With multiple sites and in-house production, we are focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and investing in our people as we grow. At Woodlands, attitude, teamwork, and a hands-on approach matter, and we create opportunities for people to develop, progress, and make a real impact.

Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Machine Operative to join our Cabins team working on our AMD Notching Machine. The machine and its operation plays an integral function in the production of our log cabins. We are ideally looking for someone who is mechanically minded, eager to learn, and able to develop a good understanding of how the machine operates. The role requires someone who can recognise when something doesn't sound or feel right and react quickly to prevent issues and downtime.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
