The Role

As a Machine Operator, you'll play a key role in the production process, ensuring machinery runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery.
  • Setting up machines ready for production runs.
  • Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification.
  • Loading materials and removing finished products safely.
  • Performing basic machine adjustments where required.
  • Reporting faults and liaising with maintenance when necessary.
  • Recording production information accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Working towards daily production targets and KPIs.
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Process Operator, or similar.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and confidence operating production machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
