Location: Airdrie
Hours: Monday–Friday (dayshift)

Machine Operator / Machine Setter
Fast-paced | Hands-on | Team-driven
We’re inviting a mechanically minded professional to join our Monday–Friday dayshift production team. If you enjoy problem-solving, precision, and keeping operations running smoothly, this could be your chance to contribute to a trusted British food brand with strong long-term opportunities.

Your Core Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Calibration
- Prepare and calibrate production machinery according to product specifications
- Execute safe, efficient changeovers to minimise downtime

Routine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct regular equipment checks to uphold performance -quick response times to correct minor mechanical issues on the line

Quality Monitoring
- Monitor production output to ensure consistency
- Make real-time adjustments as needed

Accurate Record-Keeping
- Document machine settings, adjustments, and production data
- Contribute data to maintain robust quality assurance standards

Team Collaboration
- Work cohesively with colleagues, setters, and team leads
- Foster a productive, safety-focused environment

Training & Safety Compliance
- Assist in onboarding new operators with safety and best practice training
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who bring:
✔ Experience in machine setting, operation, or industrial manufacturing ✔ A strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach ✔ Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability ✔ Team player mentality with clear communication skills ✔ A reliable attitude and energy for a dynamic, collaborative workplace
