Job Introduction Machine Setter – Join Our High-Performance Production Team
Are you an experienced Machine Setter looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Machine Setter to join our production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring machinery is set up and operating at peak performance to meet monthly production targets. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining safety standards and driving equipment efficiency across the site.

Address: Swainspark Industrial Estate, Park Road, Swadlincote DE12 6JT
Shift Pattern:
Rotating shifts – 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automated machinery in line with production requirements
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Produce high-quality cementitious products to customer specifications
- Complete daily machinery checks and maintain accurate documentation
- Manage machine-specific maintenance schedules and performance reporting
- Support mobile fitting teams with fault diagnosis and planned maintenance
- Oversee inventory of critical spares and ensure on-shelf availability

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar machine setting or maintenance role
- Strong mechanical knowledge within a production or manufacturing setting
- A results-driven approach with attention to quality and detail
- Ability to meet production targets and adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
