We are currently seeking a passionate Machine Setter to join our night shift (Sunday to Thursday), playing a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and quality of our machinery when most others are asleep.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery to ensure seamless operations throughout the night
  • Perform regular inspections and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise
  • Monitor production output to guarantee consistent quality standards
  • Accurately document machine settings and production data for compliance
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to meet nightly targets and maintain smooth workflow
  • Contribute to a positive and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols

Hours of Work

Sunday to Thursday: 23:00 – 07:30 Hourly rate: £13.17 (rising to £14.23 after training)


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Machine Setter or in a similar production role
  • Strong understanding of machinery operations and maintenance, particularly in a food production setting
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Motivation to contribute to a safe and efficient working environment
