Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke products used within the electrical industry sector for both the UK and globally, and they are seeking a Machine Technician to join their existing team. As a Machine Technician, you will set, calibrate, and operate precision production equipment.
Machine Technician Responsibilities
- Working to engineering drawings and production documents.
- Use precision measurement equipment to set equipment accurately.
- Set, calibrate, and operate precision measurement equipment.
- Calculate lengths and quantities of materials required for production using Excel and mental arithmetic.
- Support other production activities when required.

Machine Technician Requirements
- Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Experienced in operating and setting production machinery.
- Apprentice trained and entry-level candidates will be considered.
- Experience working with metals would be beneficial.
- Must be able to work to engineering drawings and production documents.
- Must be comfortable in making calculations and using Excel.
